Rahman Ashena
Senior Well Engineer & Data Analyst
Ashena has around 10 years of field work experience as a drilling supervisor and senior well completion/workover. Ashena is specialized in oil and gas and geothermal well engineering, including AI data analytics, well control, geomechanics, wellbore flow modeling, well integrity, cementing, and fluids, and has been a consultant in different well engineering projects in the Middle East and SE Asia. He is the founder of Smart Energy and Data Analytics (SEDA)-Group in Houston, USA, providing consultation in oil and gas, renewable energy and data analytics. Ashena completed his PhD and Master’s degrees in petroleum well engineering, respectively at Montanuniversität Leoben (Austria) in 2017, and Curtin University (Australia) in 2009. Ashena also holds a master’s in data science and analytics. Ashena has more than 10 years’ experience of training in drilling and production for university and industry. Ashena has published more than 70 technical peer-reviewed publications with international publishers on well engineering topics, including books “The Practical Handbook of Well Control” by Taylor and Francis, and “Coring Methods and Systems”, “Well Cement Integrity”, and chapter “Artificial Intelligent Approaches in Petroleum Geosciences” by Springer.

Jacqueline Greenwell
Senior Well Integrity Engineer
She has over 27+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry, specializing as an independent Senior Well Integrity Engineer with a background in Completions and Well Interventions Team Lead at Santos Ltd. Starting her career with SLB as a field wireline logging engineer, she worked onshore and offshore in Australia and New Zealand. Jacquie’s expertise lies in addressing operational and abandonment well integrity challenges, managing risk, well maintenance and barrier verification. She has been involved in managing loss of containment incidents and in recognition and prevention of same. Greenwell has developed Well Integrity Management systems for various clients in adherence to ISO 16530-1. Her passion lies in mentoring engineers and training production personnel in understanding fundamental principles and risk associated with the operational management of wells. Greenwell holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) and Bachelor of Science (Organic Chemistry) from The University of Melbourne, Australia.
Mikel Moqadasi
Senior Well Engineer
Moqadasi developed a diverse background through various roles including drilling engineer, and drilling supervisor with over 10 years’ experience in the oil, gas and geothermal sectors. This extensive experience has provided a strong foundation for tackling the complex challenges of the industry. Hands-on expertise ensures optimum operational efficiency and safety on all drilling projects. In addition, Moqadasi is specialized in drilling hydraulics, well control and well intervention training, enhancing the knowledge and skills of professionals in the field. A focus on early identification of potential problems enables the development of effective, tailored solutions. Committed to driving innovation and improvement in drilling practices, working with industry professionals to achieve project success is a top priority. With his passion for research, he is a PhD candidate at Clausthal University of Technology in Germany investigating wellbore fluid mechanics and hydraulics.

Data Analyst
Josiah is a Master’s in data science at Leeds Beckett University, United Kingdom, with a deep passion for data analysis and machine learning. His expertise in data science positions me as a forward-thinking individual capable of effective collaboration with technical teams. His experience includes conducting some research with the help of his strong understanding in Python, SQL, and Tableau. Additionally, his experiences in several data analyst positions coupled with some well-done data science and machine learning projects enable him to become an innovative thinker and contribute to future technological advancements.
Divvya Indran
Junior Reservoir Engineer & Business Developer
Indran is a junior reservoir engineer specializing in oil and gas as well as CO2 sequestration. After completing her bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering in Malaysia, she began her career at SEDA-Group. Her passion for petroleum engineering drives her to continue advancing her expertise through a Master’s program. Additionally, she actively contributes to business development for the company in Asia, expanding its reach and growth in the region.
Farzad Qorbani
Senior Well Engineer
Qurbani is an experienced drilling and well control engineer with about 30 years’ experience in the Middle East as drilling supervisors and managers. With a master’s in petroleum engineering, Qorbani has several publications on drilling and completion engineering and has also trained many drilling engineers and supervisors for the oilfield. Qurbani is a field expert in finding solutions in recompletion and workover operations for special well cases.
Elliot H. Kurnia
Junior Drilling Engineer
Kurnia is a junior petroleum engineer at SEDA-Group with a wide interest in subject drilling and completion engineering and an excellent performance during his bachelor studies in petroleum engineering. Having completed his internship on well control and drilling, he is passionate in well engineering and machine learning methods to potentially help advance the industry even further technologically on AI/ML methods.
